This is such a terrible system. Every get a group project in school where no one else did anything? This is nearly every battle and exam in this school. You have two scenarios; talented students are randomly distributed between classes or classes are stacked with people of similar ability. In the former case no matter the outcome the school wastes a lot of potential in the latter exams are meaningless because the outcome is predetermined. Imagine if you will a school that focused instead on actually teaching and developing talent.
