'better' would suggest that Touji has had more than one boyfriend, which he hasn't.

I want Yachiyo to get away from all of this, and find someone he can love and be loved by in equal measure.

Wtf I was really hoping for him and Yachiyo to just reconcile and become friends again, whilst he dated Kiyoto imo that would’ve been better as it just seems likes he’s using Yachiyo as a rebound from his break up with Kiyoto.
