Salmonella aside, i'd prolly still want the egg to be fried unless the heat is enough to cook it, or if it's just an egg yolk b/c the whites being undercooked/raw is just gross to me (other than adding it to a ramen but other than pouring boiling ramen all over it, sometimes the cooking is uneven if i just microwave it XP but i imagine most ppl don't want to microwave if it's a cup versus those square instant packages)

Salmonella? That would be really hard in modern world and especially in Japan, they really go anal about their eggs, pun lol

"Runny eggs" is usually because first time experience, something picked up along the way and can spoil the fun.
