Is the princess's body shield cast by herself or was someone else that did it, if it is the latter it means it is a temporary measure.

Vera is clearly the superior fighter but those mercenaries aren't pushovers too, if they were even a bit less skilled they would be dead by now.

I'm guessing Vera might just have a body shield himself or something like that. But I forget, why didn't the mercenaries just have the hunter shoot him from the very start while they were unaware then dog pile the princess?

@Tersione because the rifle makes a lot noise, they didn't want to attract other adventurers/thieves or the guards to their position

@Marivs True, I forgot about that since it's been a while. Even if they shot him first, it still wouldn't have worked unless they thought to aim for his head instead of his heart.
