So, what kind of logic did she use to get the conclusion that dating Takt would somehow make her part of Riku's family? If she wanted to use Takt to get close to him, she's already perfectly capable of doing so all by herself. She just needs to be assertive and force her way in. The author loves to stall the story by giving more mysteries in every released chapter. I wonder if he does have any plans for the conclusion. We still haven't solved the question as to why the female childhood friend (who?) is dating Takt instead of the MC.

Is there even a need to know Umimi's past in the first place? I don't think it would change anything if Riku knew about it. Also, is there any benefit in confessing your past relationship with an ex to someone you like, when they didn’t even ask? I think the only outcome would be them being put off or starting to dislike you. What they're doing makes no sense.
