I’m wondering if they got permission to return, considering they’ve stopped charging for chapters on their site. Still, sniping a bunch of series that already have teams working on them is straight-up shitty behavior.

Oh look. This group again. I dunno if they got permission to upload again (they didn't get the old group unlocked, but it is the same user account running the show) but this is trash. The translation is not basement level MTL but everything looks rough, watermarks are everywhere (why care about watermarks if you're not funneling people to your paysite and are "for the community" or whatever now?) and the typesetting is ass since they can't even be bothered to pick between using a font that supports accents/diacritics and using one that looks good, so every accented letter that shows up (not necessarily in this series, but in others they uploaded today) is a random, jarring arial-font basic-ass leter with its accent surrounded by whatever standard manga typesetting typeface they're using.

coming back and sniping series with this trash while claiming you're for the people is not it. If you're gonna do that at least have the decency to figure out a series that isn't being worked on and fill the gap.

EDIT: Just to see if I'm going nuts - are these guys also formerly UToon? I feel like they are/were and their releases feel very similar, aversion to cleavage aside, but I can't remember if it was confirmed or not

I dont think they are related to utoon, Utoon still uploads on their own website. I could be wrong though.
