I wouldn't have read chapter 2 or any future chapter if chapter 1 didn't happen exactly as it happened, so it's completely fine. The story wouldn't be the same without chapter 1, no need to regret anything.

I have received worrying reports that the Entity Kima's powers are spreading and infecting others with its obsessive behaviour and freakish nature. Until the truth of this matter is settled, we must unfortunately declare a state of emergency and martial law upon Kima City. Do not be worried, as soon as this crisis is over, I shall immediately restore normality and give up all of my emergency powers.
