is that the Ako that lived with him until the end or is that a dream Ako/fake Ako/Ako made from his memories or something?

I had peace, the ending was not amazing, not the worse, but enough to satisfy story of their future, I remember at first reading this, how the end will be?, how they accept they are not in the same dimensions?, but this is enough to answer all my past curiosity. Getting older I can't think I can keep up with this fast manga/ literature world, but I hope I can get author other good series like hormiya or ako to bambi. Thanks for the translation, I'll keep in mind to buy their physical if it available in my country.

THANK FOR THE TRANSLATION!!!!!
What a journey, I started reading it 4 years ago!!!
I may not remember all that happens, but I still enjoy it a lot.

I started it at the end of highschool, and now I'm in a art school. I may not know where I am going and feel lost and stupid at time, but this manga just make me feel glad to be alive and healthy.

I'm definitely gonna reread this at some point in the future.
I really like how this series managed to be such a comfortable slice of life while keeping such a somber tone. How despite living such a mundane fulfilling life with each other, there were still lingering feelings of uncertainty until the both of them can truly unite.

my only gripe with this series is the same-face-syndrome, makes it hard for me to differentiate some of the characters :nyoron:

I have always wondered how this story would end. All major "obstacles" had been solved since forever and it wandered, trying to make sense of Ako.
In a way, the latter part of the work is about giving humanity to a spirit, so I suppose it is fitting that the end would make a spirit out of a human.
I will really miss this series.
Horimiya was the same way, the actual plot was fully resolved in the first half or so of the manga, and the rest was just fluff. That's why every anime adaptation ends at the same point halfway through. I think that's just how HERO writes.

Not criticizing, mind you, I enjoy the fluff continuations, but it does appear to be a pattern.
