That's the thing though, dude is basically like a high functioning sociopath, we clearly see he's basically completely batshit insane and obsessed but he's smart enough for long term planning and thinking, he knows he can't win anymore, she'll never be his and he can't kill her either, so he'll do the last option he got, kill himself in front of her so he'll forever stay in her heart in some twisted way

I think we're supposed to take it as he was always like that deep down, he simply didn't had reason to go murdering people before

I really thought PM was gonna have the brother cosplay as Celestine so he can, I dunno, prevent Celestine herself from witnessing Ludwig's suicide or see how batshit Ludwig is. Upon retrospect, I realized this idea sounds dumb and also a bit weird because it... I mean, how do you even ask a dude to cosplay and pretend to be your wife, especially if that dude is your wife's brother?

Also, Wester surprisingly got away unharmed despite all the shittalking he did. Can't tell if PM didn't clap back only because he was Celestine's brother, or if he genuinely wouldn't have cared because he gets that a lot / they're nothing more than words at the end of the day.
