there are two raw versions.
one in monthly josei magazine that gets published first
and another one in separate comic release that is released separately.
the scanlator group is using comic as raws
the one in josei magazine doesn't have chapter numbers assigned. they just follow conventional release number. so if the chapter released is 17th in the magazine then it gets labeled as chapter 17. that's the one you see on amazon for example:
https://www.amazon.co.jp/やましろ-梅太-ebook/dp/B0CW2H6L8N/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=dqn43&content-id=amzn1.sym.bb272e13-1a68-41b0-a370-44a252d487ac&pf_rd_p=bb272e13-1a68-41b0-a370-44a252d487ac&pf_rd_r=356-3000682-8675467&pd_rd_wg=WR2lw&pd_rd_r=a3baceb3-7f75-4108-8fe7-384d925fac9b&ref_=aufs_ap_sc_dsk
the official comic release follows its own chapter labels. that is assigned by the author or the publisher. and they all follow the chapter name rather than release number. that's why the 'lets forget the flowery path of evil' has so many sub chapters. because it's chapter 12 in the comic release and divided into sub chapters.
the easy way to check it is to read the contents page for each first chapter in volumes. you can see that here
https://mangadex.org/chapter/9349ea33-c0ce-45bb-adbb-8fee622596be/5
all chapters belong to chapter 12, but divided into subchapters.
the scanlation group is following the labeling from the comic release because that's where they got the raws.
not the monthly magazine.
