I see no way through this fight, as he is consigned to death no matter what may happen. Shadowstone wants Seraphina, and Arvel would see him obliterated before that could happen. And with Valery seeking Arvel's death due to his surname, the only remaining hope is that he can Loop one final time.

The issue from there...being how he navigates these long-running grudges and machinations, keeping them all in mind so that he can counter them where it's most beneficial...and managing the emotional fallout of this latest and likely deepest betrayal.
Because it would be simple to take yet another Loop's worth of accumulated mana and simply annihilate all of those who stand between Seraphina and a 'Happy Ending' all on his own. But I have to imagine he's reaching a point where his body won't be able to actually contain and withstand the amount of power he'll possess.

Plus, Shadowstone might try some fuckey here to entrap him, given he was talking about Avery's mana capacity before now, anyway.

It's just going from bad to worse, it would seem. And while there's the loop to fall back on...it needs Seraphina to instigate it, and they're currently under ....well, a lot, right now.

Their cards are still too few. They need to secure Valery before the shadowstones get to him, but everything else is built on a house of cards.

If arvel takes seraphina and Valery and just leaves the country, Shou would have to balance survival with not prospering too much and getting within Shadowstones sights.

This has been enjoyable, even with the knives, up to this point, but now its just.. There's too many layers to follow properly, its getting messy as hell and its not enjoyable anymore because there are so many pieces to keep track of. And with the spoiler above, I'm dropping this.
Its gone from tragic and interesting to way too complicated.
I'm tapping out, my brain is steaming too hard.

Also author is going with the classic mistake of making a hopeless situation with seemingly no way out, thinking that when Arvel comes up with some harebrained idea that miraculously works, its supposed to feel relieving and like Arvel is a genius. It won't. Its just gonna feel like a waste of our time and too little too late. At this point I just wish Arvel kills everyone involved and then himself to end this, because clearly the story's lesson is "humans all suck".

I actually like how Arvel tries different things each loop, and how the author shows a dramatically different world from those changes. Each time, he knows more, learns more, and gets more powerful. It's not really a loop because that would occupy the same metaphorical space. This is more like a spiral, with each restart leading to a broader and broader scope.
