It's completely stupid. At this point, it is just useless drama for the sake of drama.
We're witnessing the unfortunate fact that good art can't make up for bad writingIt's completely stupid.
They both obviously love each other. The brother knows and was okay with the two of them getting together. Arvel is clearly the best man to protect Seraphina from all the scum in the kingdom. Why didn't the two of them get together from the very moment Arvel went back in time? It's not like Seraphina and Arvel only love each other in this timeline. Seraphina has openly told him in the previous timelines as well. Even Arvel had basically admitted to loving her in the previous timeline.
What am I missing here?
I mean, everyone was fine in the beginning when nobody knew what was going on and what was going to happen. And every other character has been just fine for the story. Really the only problem is that the author is dragging the story by making Arvel a complete imbecile to the point where I'm really starting to hate him. The fact the story mainly revolves around him makes me start to hate this story too. We're witnessing the unfortunate fact that good art can't make up for bad writing
I'm thinking it was actually Seraphina from the first timeline that was cursed. She was gangraped, husband murdered, and forced to become Sirius's mistress in that timeline. It wouldn't surprise me if she cursed herself from all the trauma she endured.I need to reread this because i'm also lost on why exactly he's doing this. At this point isn't this the second reset where he's making the same mistake? I guess we know now she's actually cursed, and i'm going to guess it was future her who did it.
I'm binging it again and i'm realizing that everything that's happening is actually shou's fault and he's the actual good for nothing in the family there, an incompetent moron devoid of intelligence. Ch5 kinda explains it all pretty much.I'm thinking it was actually Seraphina from the first timeline that was cursed. To be fair, no one has ever told Shou about anything yet. I don't think Shou would just stand idly by if he actually knew what was going to happen to them in the future. He's also the head of the household, so he's expected to earn some prestige to stand on his own compared to the other households.I'm binging it again and i'm realizing that everything that's happening is actually shou's fault and he's the actual good for nothing in the family there, an incompetent moron devoid of intelligence. And yeah, by future her i mean the first timeline Seraphina.
And basically Arvel is still misunderstanding Seraphina's feelings there, which i guess you can call bad writing.
That's unfortunate pitfall of manga as a medium. Just like how great painters are not necessary great novelists and/or can write best seller books as well. Though LN/WN adaptation side of things are really not in that great shape either. Japan always had problems stepping outside of tradition and writing is no different. Everyone just copy each other in an unending loop. That's why they (specially mangaka) can rarely if ever stick the landing. The isekai boom is a great example. One guy did something years ago and now everyone copies it step by step. Same goes for romcoms. It took almost 20 years for the retarded influence of Love Hina to START to fade. But its still there. We're witnessing the unfortunate fact that good art can't make up for bad writing
