That's pretty pricey for a parfait
Well, it's Ginza after all.
I haven't been to the place these girls went, but I have been to one that's literally across the street (Cafe Paulista) and you pay not just for the food but for the overall experience. The food's good tho, but in the end nothing beats mom-and-pop shops IMO.

huh, usually when currency I don't understand comes up, I'm used to it being USD. EUR was a surprising but pleasant difference
It's not that difficult. You can just think of 1 EUR being 1 USD and even though it's not really the case anymore, you can think of 100 JPY being 1 USD, but it's more like 100 yen being more like 65 cents.....

Papa is still alive and is taking his wife out for sushi. I guess hell is a reasonable price for that privilege. Also, don't you want to be in the position where Mom and your GF are arguing over who gets to "eat" you? Good times?
If I understood it correctly the Human only goes to hell after they die.

And if one of the 2 in the contracts dies, they both die.

those parfaits look good but feels like something you could make at home if you really wanted to, fancy presentations aside (other than the special 'music grown fruits' lmao)

For comparison, a nice big strawberry sundae is about 7€ at one local ice cream parlor (*) and about 9€ at another, here in Germany. And that's Germany, where the median income is like twice that of Japan, especially now with the yen being so low. And I already consider the 9€ place expensive.

(*) or rather, Italian ice cream cafés with gelato. From what I hear, US ice cream is a bit different usually?

I'm pretty sure that's because a couple of filthy rich farming companies monopolize the fruits market and have a strong political influence to supress the import of fruits as much as possible to further inflate the prices. My own country is huge in berry exports and our biggest customers are literally every asian country except for Japan.
