Cultured men know that a sweet cutie who loves food and making it is a massive catch. Interesting that Luke immediately jumped on the proposal here, which is a rare occurrence for Isekai. Kinda wish it wasn't a harem though.

Opportunistic, pragmatic, rational...Luke is many of things that I like in a protagonist, but kind evidently isn't one of them. This guy is out for himself, didn't consider love for his marriage at all, and has just enough of that "eww, dirty orphans" reaction to feel like a normal privileged human. He also couldn't be bothered to firmly correct his future wife's notion that she isn't inherently charming already.

Still. Because he's practical where he can be and not inherently a bastard of a person in an otherwise kinda toxic environment, he'll be treated like he's kind, and I'm sure that's how he'll win over a lot of girls.
