Yep, the sister had the hots for him in the web novel, well, anything with a vagina does it seems. Total wish fulfillment.I see the artist decided to skip the parts of the webnovel that mentioned incestual love.

Normally, I would agree but I'm a little unsure with this one. If it was before Karin was introduced then yes, I would have preferred he develop something with Syrup. I'm not the type that thinks "I like a female character so she MUST love the mc" but I do have doubts about most japanese WN authors ability to write an early introduced girl into another relationship or just moving on with their own life and not being a tagalong fangirl. I doubt even more japanese WN readers ability to accept such a scenario.this is kind of refreshing it is nice to see a character actually taking care of their healthy instead of the classic losing weight and becoming a immediate beauty kind of miracle, i just sad that this has a harem tag, like with 90% of the cases this would be better as a single couple romance
i don't really know much about people backslash but i do hate when they throw a girl to love mc just for us to see her losing later so i guess that as long as the author makes it clear that not every girl likes mc romantically i 100% prefer monogamy, because i'm traumatized with harem since the more girls it has the harder it is to develop each of them, i still give a chance and read a few of them but most of the time i end up dropping in the middle, well i just hope that here at least it is a real harem instead of a fake one like we have in most love comedyNormally, I would agree but I'm a little unsure with this one. There was one LN awhile back that I think did it decently that I enjoyed but some readers threw a fit. Boy was isekai'd but before the god could even be seen by him he was LAUNCHED, just straight THROWN as a PROJECTILE into the weakspot of the evil dragon he was summoned to kill, killing it. The girl that was going to be sacrificed then helped him to adjust to the new world, teaching him and introducing him to an older adventurer man (around 25-35 yo) that he became friends with and that man's hot witch mother. His relationship with the first girl ended up as more little brother/older sister and he helps her and her fiancé get together while he goes off with his friend's hot witch mom. I was perfectly happy with this, but some readers just didn't accept that the first girl expressed her gratitude by helping him out and not falling in love with him and the translation died off soon after.
So, it would be better if the focus and characters were more narrow from the beginning but, now that we have two, I don't trust the author to develop either outside of their interactions with the mc so it might be better to just have the harem than them drop the girl off a cliff. Could it be done well? Yes, with any will to develop characters besides the mc it can be done but I don't expect that will anymore.
If it was something like Level Eater, where it's a dual protagonist isekai with a boyfriend and girlfriend getting isekai'd and neither of them being interested in anyone else and the 'harem' of girls following them are actually the kids they keep having, it would be easy for it to work but once multiple potential relationships are introduced either the author will screw it up or the readers will cause a backlash even if they do it well. So, I think I might be fine this time as long as they both are developed and treated well.
