Just to add to all the wholesome moments but in the WN we get scenes that occurred in the game and they are heartbreakingly painful, and none of those scenes will ever come to pass because MC exists and is actively protecting and raising the kids. MC is also not pussy foot when it comes to human enemies. One enemy he didn't kill right away because he REALLY wanted to castrate the bastard before beheading him.

Spoiler: Examples of game scenes

Ariamel is revealed to be a saint and an Oracle pointed the very VERY corrupt church where to find her. The game scene is set several years in the future but the Empire's hero (not the game hero) encounters her after she's a broken shell of her former self after suffering lot of horrible abuse that is implied. The hero remarks she was also broken like he was by them. The scene ends as she takes a sword and ends her own life.

In the actual world however MC was the one that answered the door and very quickly dispatched the 2 holy knights sent to grab her. He then beelines straight for the bishop who also came to secure her and it ends with the entire kidnapping party dead. The church couldn't say that they illegally entered the country to kidnap its citizens, and the death of one of their top leaders and holy knights made the thing implode into a civil war. While the MC was at it, he also adopted the hero who last seen was very happy and very attached to the MC as a proper father figure.

I'd think she'd be a priest type but the oldest "family member" seems like she'll fill that role so the wife figure will probably be some OP class with a scary exterior like the MC but for whatever odd reason shes top-tier wife/mother material personality-wise.

Going with your family assessment I could see it having the deeper meaning of "it doesn't matter the appearance, the substance of the family is what matters" and that'd be cute while also being cool with the adventuring side of things
