I like the concept of these, but I hate that a lot of them end up turning into incest, or turn into the MC collecting a harem with the children becoming less and less important the further you go into the novel.

Yeah, after the daughter went through demon puberty and went from loli-chan to Araara-oneechan. She always loved him romantically so it was basically her grooming her dad into it.

Sadly, a lot of good stories get axed because it doesn't follow popular tropes of Harem and Isekai crap. Necromance was one such a story.

Yea, they tend to do that because it references a classical Japanese literature which the name escapes me at the moment where a guy raises a girl to be the perfect wife

Tales of Genji. One of the oldest novels in existence. Dude raised his best friend's daughter after he died and did some wife-husbandry raising her into what he considered the perfect woman. They did marry and later he tried to do it again and she called him out on it, saying she remembered when he said the same sort of things about HER.
