Always get nervous when the MC is overdesigned, and summoning a sword that was even more overdesigned doesn't help that feeling. The story hasn't done anything egregiously bad, and has at least a few interesting ideas early on but I couldn't say it's really making me feel super confident following it will pay off long-term.
