The parents are acting on the principles of child raising of nobility of a pseudo 1700s-1800s. Cain isekaied from modern way Japan. It was inevitable there was going to be conflict between manners, morals and philosphy.

Did you know the principles of the modern kindergarten only really started occuring in late 1770s -1800s? And in mid 1880s-1900s educators would discuss how there was a problem with getting rich children into the kindergarten. Their parents wanted them to learn kindergarten principles without the location, other children present or the teachers.

If I recall correctly, in the game world's setting, Cain's background is that he was neglected/unloved by his parents. Even with the isekai-ed MC making a bunch of changes to the story, I guess the dad still kind of sucks.

Maybe it's just that the manga can't afford to spend too many panels on the dad, but it really doesn't seem like he has much interest in raising his son. In fact, I'm pretty sure there was an earlier chapter where the dad was wholly unaware of just how far along Cain had come in his studies.

Teleportations has always been like that since star trek deconstruct > send > reconstruct. Gate method aren't really teleportation

I mean it's not that different from the one in Star trek or similar sci-fi worlds where they decompose and then recompose your body at the destination it's just the soul transfer part.

I'm gonna bet either 2 or 3. He won't end up enrolling in the school before Diana (so 2 years minimum since they have a 2 year age gap), but 3 years would give her enough time to accidentally cement herself as a "villainess" before he arrives.

She won't actually be evil, but without his guidance (and only an ex-assassin to rein her in) I could see her original in-game villainy translating to instead her essentially being like "oh, what's a good disguise nobody would guess for a hero of justice? A bad girl!". So rumors about her start popping up and she has no reason to correct them, and she might even lean into it a bit (since she has darkness magic).

also, that aint teleportation magic bruh. it soul clone transferring. that horrifying. like for real, good things soul is a thing in magic stuff, i remember about a short comic about the same concept except it basically creating the exact clone of yourself with copy of your memories instead transferring it to the destination and kill your body (that mean you) here to make sure there no two of you instead Just an empty body without mind/soul.
