Nope, just different budgets and needs. If a phone doesn't mean a lot to you and you just need one for function and/or are on a tight budget, then spending $1,000+ on a phone is pretty extreme. Personally, I like the idea of having a nicer phone, but I'd rather just wait until a high-performing budget phone comes out and stick with my slightly older model, than compromise on performance with current budget phones, or pay an arm and a leg to get the speed, camera, etc that I want. Nowadays, those better-quality budget phones are starting to make a comeback so things do look promising (they're still more than $360 though).
