a nice read, feels like it could be fun to read more about this.

at the same time "MC just wants to do their thing, but gets bothered by every other character (with misunderstandings)" is a situation we already had more than once, within this anthology even afaik, so not sure if it would work out for a lengthy series.

I'd love to see more on how her mum casually adapted to their new life so easily, why the butler stayed, where her dad disappeared too, etc. So much potential to expand on her family life itself.

This feels short, though i really don´t know how to make it longer without falling in to cliche... I really like that she does not end with some other guy, i like the "we never told you what type of love we are referring to" type of stories, they are good at giving this small twists

I like that it bypassed the "Even though I'm a villainess" part by making her awaken her previous life's knowledge after she's already had her engagement annulled for being a villainess so the story can instead focus more on the "I'll show you I can find happiness" part.

The execution wasn't the best, but I appreciate a story where the "love interest" is as irrelevant as he is meant to be. Tbh I'd like to have seen more of the heroine. She's fully right to feel the way she does towards the villainess since she didn't become a new person until after the condemnation (though they just skipped what she apparently did to be a villainess, but at this point does it even matter...), and she knows about the prince's uh. 80% gimmick. And still chose to pursue him.

It doesn't seem like it's been THAT long since the condemnation, so I doubt the expense has racked up that much, especially if they've sold off items/laid off workers to reduce expense.

The old butler type tends to work out of loyalty rather than benefits, so he probably chose to stay even with no pay.

Though seeing this now I want one where Villainess get sent to monastery far away to reflect...then she did.
By being away from noble societal expectations, she was able to find some peace and enjoyed it.
Whether it ends with her finding a new dude to chill with or remains a nun is fine.
