Well, it isn’t yuri but that’s not a surprise when it comes to this manga 😭. I think there’s a yuri villainess anthology out there so we’ll have to be content with that instead…

I could be misremembering cause I read most of this story at like 4AM one night, but there were a couple of yuri stories here.

The problem is this one felt so unnatural, like it's a plot twist that came out of nowhere, was barely explained, and came after a lot of buildiup, and really added almost nothing to the story. Like, I can live with it not being yuri, but this is the most unnatural yuri bait I've seen in a long time.

My thinking was probably influenced by the webnovel Cinderella’s Older Sister Reluctantly Marries the Prince, in which Cinderella runs off with the fairy godmother analogue (a wizard), and the prince takes one of the stepsisters to avoid admitting he failed to bring back his bride.

It's an interesting twist to the story of Cinderella, but I really would have liked it more if she was still a woman at the end, which I think it is the consensus of everyone here.
