Time for that quote!
I think it's also ... a common trope I dislike in these - it's a story where a 'princess' does little and gets swept off her feet by someone else solving the problem in the name of love. Sound familiar? Since that's probably one of the most common clichés around, so if you want to do that story, you have to do it very well.
That being said, I'm happy that even if it was forced, this had an actual villainess in it. The actual use of a villainess premise and an interesting enough premise is enough to put it in the middle of the pack, even if the resolution is rather plane.

My ratings on the series, from best to worst (with lines between 'enjoyed', 'neutral', and 'disliked'):
1-2, 7-3, 2-3, 2-4, 6-4, 4-5, 5-2, 6-1, 2-2, 4-1, 5-5, 2-1, 1-4, 7-2, 3-2 | 4-4, 6-6, 7-4, 6-5, 7-1, 4-3, 4-2, 3-1, 6-3, 8-3, 5-1, 4-6, 2-6, 5-4, 1-5, 3-3, 8-1, 8-2 | 7-5, 3-4, 1-3, 2-5, 3-5, 5-3, 6-2, 1-1

If yall like this “controlled by an external force” plot, arc 13 of “Cheating Men Must Die” has the transmigrator MC go into a world where the story’s ML and Villainess are controlled by external forces whenever the story MC is present
