Anime did it different, but yeah the Spoiler is true atleast for the Light Novel (it's a bit different in the Web Novel on certain aspect which i don't remember completely right now), but it's still technically different.

Aka., Alicia is so fearful of Yumiella, that she believes that Yumiella is a much dangerous person than even the Demon Lord, and in her blind belief she acts Yumiella from her blind-spot. She does ends up getting supported by the other two idiots for what she did, except the Prince who questions their actions. Yumiella is saved by the act thanks to the Life Protection pendent that Patrick.

Alicia and the others do end up surviving the whole ordeal and end up being room-imprisoned secretly as the Kingdom can't reveal the truth about what the Demon Lord actually is to the public, so they can publicly punish Alicia. Plus she is the rare user of Light magic as well, so she still has her usage.

I watched the Anime and read some summaries of the Light Novel and noticed some differences with some story changes made in the Anime to fit the format. Interesting that there will be a difference in how the story goes.
Even just on this chapter comparing it to its Anime counterpart the sequence of events is different along with who were present.
Guess this arc is pretty much the significant deviating point between the original novel and its adaptations.

not sure about the ln, but in the web novel she gets backstabbed by alicia using a light dagger in front of the demon lord, only reason she lived is cause patrick made her where the accessory that takes one fatal hit for the user, demon lord proceeds to snap alicias neck and kill the mage and swordsman followers, prince lives cause he was horrified by alicias actions

Also, don't put too much hope into that November release.
The "next chapter releases on" switching to next month every month (aka delayed) has been going on since we started working on this series. I'm unsure why it keeps getting delayed so much, but it might have something to do with the fact they're going a different route than the LN (from what I've gathered).

In the LN not long after this Yumiella will go splunking trying to find equipment strong enough to withstand her strength so she can power up further. What she found instead was a light aspected weapon, which she sold cause she can’t use it, but she did mention that this could potentially hurt her. This weapon later ended up with the kingdom and later Alicia.

When they went to fight the demon lord Alicia stabbed Yumiella from the back with that weapon because to her Yumiella is scarier than the demon lord. Part of the reason is this arc.

Yumiella didn’t die because Patrick told Yumiella to wear the charm that prevent a lethal hit. The charm that Yumiella has not worn so far in the story because she thinks it would be inefficient.

After Yumiella zapped the demon king, Alicia cannot be publicly punished, but she is made to clear dungeons as punishment (and to level up) in part because she is still an important asset to the country and some echelons in the country thought that she could be a trump card if Yumiella decided to rebel.

In a later arc, she couldn’t take it anymore and tried to defect to a neighboring hostile country only to encounter Yumiella again and get more traumatized. She then returned to the kingdom to continue her punishment cause at that point is just waaay to scared of crossing Yumiella. At this point the country also realized that if Yumiella decided to go against them any resistance with force would be futile.
