They do actually upload here. They just don't upload this specific series here it would seem.

The group is No Group Scanlation if you want to double check (you were actually in the thread in question, see my previous comment for the link).

I believe it was specifically Official229 re-adding in a credits joke that got removed because of implied N-word (whether or not implied word jokes are bad is a seperate topic, they did in fact do something against the mod's wishes which is always a no-no if you aren't self-hosting).

oh lmao, I was gonna say, I checked elsewhere and was like "oh this is done by NGS? But they totally still upload to Mangadex", but I had completely forgotten about their insane credits page joke in this series. Didn't know you could be banned from specific series, that's pretty funny.

I'm not as wild west, anything-goes about scanlation drama as some people are and I do think that the best way forward for everyone is for groups to cooperate and play nice because that creates the most benefit for the most people. Buuuuuut...

...If they got themselves banned here that's on them. And if they have no other site to post at, that's also on them. I don't see the issue with continuing to translate and deliver the series because a) it's not like the other group can come back if they're banned and b) even if they can come back it seems possible that they would get themselves banned again given that I think it's not that easy to get yourself entirely booted from the site unless you are being grossly inappropriate with your content or are violating the rules about paywalling/donation begging stuff. If their work got purged (and I figure it did considering this chapter seems very familiar) then they have no one to blame but themselves and I don't see why they should get any real consideration and why it should be an issue to continue translating this series in their likely continuing absence.

Considering how many series have multiple simultaneous uploaders, I really don't think Mangadex gives a damn who uploads a title. If they've blocked a group from uploading a title, that's the same as it being abandoned. Even if MD lifts the ban, what leg do they have to stand on to tell you to stop? They don’t. Only the mods can do that.

It's so high resolution i skipped it initially (I'm on 1080p). XD

What were they banned for and can they get unbanned? Where do we read their chapters? After some search I found the chapters translated up to 23 but that was posted in early July. Looking further, it appears to be the latest chapter anyways as the manga barely updates.

It's unfortunate for the previous group, but it's a lot harder to follow up on their scans if they can't post here, so personally I would appreciate if you continue.

Honestly if they were banned from uploading a manga in mangadex, then there will be no problem in you doing it and uploading it here. You have to think that a lot of people don't read anything outside of mangadex and for them if another group is translating this manha in another site is irrelevant. Also even here there are manga where multiple groups are translating the same manga and each group have their own version, so having another version of a manga being translated in another site shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know if it is the reason why they get banned but pervious scanlator team put n-word joke at the end of this chapter (that entirely about discrimination) and got everyone arguing in the comments
