I mean magic is not exactly the reason for existence nobles in this world like even commoners can use magic but due to lack of education and support from govt they can only use basic spells ,so unlike other fantasy worlds in this one atleast the magic is not exclusive to nobles like man nobility even existed and still kind of exist in our world as well without any magic making nobles and commoners not very different.

pretty sure this chapter says otherwise, it would be rare for commoners at best, like that's literally how they found out who the perp is... because the dude could use magic.... and was a noble

Here's to hoping this opens Cain's eyes that only by razing down his own house can he save his sister from his parents whims of having them as aristocrat stock. This is like the third or fourth time his father has openly displayed disproportionate disdain and disgust towards the lower classes. It's not even a matter of those in higher nobility having different duties and avenues of interacting and helping commoners, it's about them not being able to see them as people to begin with.

Does his idiot uncle even understand the definition of "pander?!" What he is doing is so far from pandering it's like saying a donkey is a Clydesdale😅. It's ridiculous that a so-called educated person would say such a thing. Explaining to the people in a way they can understand has ALWAYS been the responsibility of nobles in a civilized nation not ran off tyranny, and explaining to them how their taxes work isn't pandering.
