Well, most Isekai are medieval or victorian anyway, so slavery and human trafficking are just as prevalent for the authority and survival of the noblemen and the kingdom, forced labor to be exact.

Indeed, in the first place, slaves are just the bottom tier of the hierarchy of power, abuse is only a consequence of power, those who wield authority without harming their subjects exist as much as those who do not. People tend to fall for stereotypes as the basis for objective truth in the vast and myriad reality.

You just need to get rid of our world's logic and be a bit flexible. Which, granted, 90% of MD commenters are unable of.

Yeah, names that too clearly illustrate the role or purpose something serves in the story can be cringeworthy. Something more organic and sensible as a self descriptor would be better lol
