Idk how the rating is 8.5, its completely generic and brings nothing new to the table. First chapter MC randomly whips out investigation on the maid for embezzlement without any explanation because, why not, he's got the plot. First chapter in and its completely obvious this is bad.

Just because it's generic doesn't mean it bad tho? If it is generic in a good way and doesn't bore the readers out then it is worth that point. Are you saying that just because something of the same concept comes out later then it has to be rated low or something? Where did you even get that idea from?
