All the villainess manga have great premises but so far all of them have gone downhill after the first arc and this is a prime example.

This was extremely poorly written if they're okay with brushing it off.

I'll give it some time to address this issue more properly later, but even in the context of the story's setting (being an otome game world come real), it's bad.

I don't think even real otome games... hell, h-games for ladies or men, get to this level of stupidity, then jump back to a different tone in an instant. They would at least let it be known that dumb things are blatant standard for the setting first.

Still, thanks for the translation work. Hoping this series gets back to fluff and doesn't leave the plot hole here wide open.

Look, I get why everyone is, looking at this through a modern lens, so thrown off by this. I'll even say that it wasn't communicated well, but if you re-read the part between Leonid breaking in and the scene ending, her main concern was not having an international incident with something happening to a literal prince from a neighbouring kingdom. Should she be more shaken up? Should this point have been communicated better? Sure, but it's not just "haha oh you, trying to rape" like it seems like a lot of commenters took it as.

@REMasher then why put a sociopathic manchild that attempted both murder and rape in the first place? You can rationalize it how ever you want, but an attempt of murder and sexual assault already derailed the whole goddam thing. The fact that the author just gloss over it just makes it worse.
