I really love this mangaka's take on the villainess trope 😂
@Mijmij OMG. Ur so right. I remember my teacher giving my full grade when my program worked but I wrote nonsense for the code 💆.

@Allexio I'm assuming that most of the spells written in the ancient language have a complicated structure and thus takes time to read at a glance, but the common language is quick and easy to read. Thus by the time someone is able to finish figuring out what spell is it's already been cast. That, or the author just wanted an excuse to introduce the Japanese language so as to make the typo joke. It's still an unresolved loophole regardless, but best not to think about it too hard. :p

lol, love this take on isekai. instead of "hero/heroine dropped in know at least something" it's 'hero/heroine dropped in knowing barely anything"!!

That's just it. If it works, it works. No need to ask so much on why and how it works.

But it seems like characters from other isekai stories absolutely have to know how and why it works. Like 100%. And also, the person the MCs always for information about the world would always know absolutely everything about the world.

@Allexio Other magicians might be able to read it if they get a good look at it, but the warning was about observers in general. EG: You're trying to start a campfire, and everyone crowded around sees you write "Fire" in common, and thus the magic is torn between everyone and fizzles. Writing in ancient prevents random bystanders causing unexpected failures.
Presumably magic circle creation specifically for combat purposes has more trickery involved.

Or not. I'm probably thinking too hard about it.

At first I thought "running riot" was a "translate the original words literally" mistake, but realized such a phrase does exist in english. The more you know!

This mean for this world magic rules to active required:
1. Magic circle
2. Words with any Language you understand no matter it is
3. Single people conscious align with the word
4. The intention of the magic is more important than the accuracy word from the meaning of that word
