Oh, is this interesting Real Grace backstory? She's not actually a spoiled brat but was just forced to try and act as a "proper noble" would? It seems she was trying to enforce her authority, but without first gaining the respect of her servants they just see it as power tripping. Grace doesn't understand what's going wrong because she was never properly taught about how to run a noble house and maybe she was the one who inadvertently summoned Kenzaburo's soul to take care of her. This is my guess.

I was thinking, "This is the Ivalice Alliance, isn't it?" when reading about that team. But there's any number of teams and games companies it could represent, really.

Actually not that big a fan of Grace just being (sorta) "misunderstand" or "misguided". I mean, given that this is mostly just cozy slice-of-life I guess that makes whatever resolution we'll ultimately get easier since she really just needs to understand she was trying too hard, but I wouldn't have minded an actual villainess reformation arc of some type.

I think it was stated/implied that Grace and Kenzaburou had similar personalities, gender and life experience differences aside, before she got her upper-class training. Specifically, I think it was when her dad was hanging out with the blacksmith.

The more important thing is that the story seems to be implying that there is some personality bleed and/or Kenzaburou is turning into more of a backseat driver to Grace. The dream was from Grace's perspective, not Kenzaburou's.
