This feels like it was made entirely to make fun of shoujo dating sims, which somehow loops back around to making the story shallow..

Shouldn't the "debuntate" be "Debutante" ? (Like the french word for novice ?)

I wonder when this story will earn its "romance" tag? There is nothing so far.
The romance will occur on the white haired girl, Bernadetta. It's not much but it still exist. Sandra get romance but in webnovel it's just mentioned in end of her arc

Damn, I've read a lot of stories with noble ladies in them but Seraphina might be the first one I actually see as such. That confidence, that elegance, that finesse... I'm legitimately compelled to bow to her.

Yeah I've thought before that most stories don't use rules like "everyone's equal at the academy," correctly.

That's the kind of rule where almost everyone knows it's bullshit, they just act like it's real in public.

I've re-read the chapters more than a couple times and a thought struck me.

How many times are women labeled villainess actually in the right?

Even if their personality and goals are shitty at the start, that doesn't change the fact their partner is committing infidelity (emotionally ot physically) and the other person is going along with even if they know the person is engaged or married.

But it's magically made okay because it's labeled as "True love". Even if the adultery can cause so many problems depending on the standing and character of the other woman, if the marriage was arranged for the good of the kingdom or beneficial, etc.

Sure if nothing happens, the guy actually puts on his big boy pants, talks it out with the villainess and breaks it off (accepting whatever consequences come of it to fix it himself), and the villainess still tries to harm the couple.

That doesn't change the fact that the villainess has the right to be pissed in the moment before.

Adultery isn't "noble" or "true love". Especially if cheaters try to hide from the consequences while plotting and scheming, setting everything else at risk while trying not to lose their benefits and being in their own world.

actually cheering for a sensible main couple, and I feel as if pride is surging because this is one of the few stories which I haven't seen aristocracy being treated as a device for plot or straight up bad. of course there are those facets, but this sort of noblesse is just invigorating
I love that the main couple has a sense of obligations and responsibilities right off the bat!!
