thanks for the translation!

sakatas getting there but is stubborn about it, but if hinata saves her (which feels like where this is leading up), the wall she puts up probably will be very near shattering completely
it takes a person a while to unlearn something they were raised to believe their whole life, and shes unlearning more everytime shes in the friend group family

Feels forced to make Hinata indebted to her weirdo of a family member over a missing ingredient. They could have just taken the cocktail off the menu, I don't think they'd be crucified for it
eh, she cares about the success of the stall, this was the most popular item they sold, and she could reasonably easily resolve the issue - it seems perfectly reasonable. The fact that it's mixed in with all the weird family stuff, and a whole lot of weird debt/obligation/etc stuff is just part of the setting, isn't it?

Except that this may be setting things up to show that Hinata doesn't take that side of things as seriously as she should. A consistent part of her characterisation is the fact that she takes a more human approach to things than the other non-human characters, a more modern human approach - the kind of thinking that would see getting this kind of help through her family connections as a relatively small thing, perhaps a financial matter more than anything else, coupled with the embarrassment of having to admit that she needs help from people she really doesn't like. What's the worst they could ask her to do in return? Not too much more than the value of a few crates of mint liqueur, surely? Except possibly not, and this may be a nice chance for us (and Hinata, and Naori) to see that . . .

You know what, fair enough

I think the other thing that bothered me was that them going to the liquor store would have been a nice setup for Sakata and Hinata to talk. Or at the very least be around each other without Naori acting as the middle-woman (I know she's the MC but I don't wanna see her jump into danger again. Though with this cliffhanger it looks like she will :worry:). But if this gives us more Ibuki family lore then I'm here for it :win:

someone doesnt know how character development works. its a story, read it and the plot progresses and characters develop
Some characters are just way to annoying for you to wait for them to actually get any progress and she is one of those

Isuzu says onis bewilder her than she realized no its living being in general... she has no friends nor does she understand what sincerity or kindness is... I just feel kinda sad for hee though it is entirely due to her arrogance, stubbornness, and quick to violence.
