I hope it ends up being as good as the prequel. It's kept my interest so far, but we'll see how it goes.

Glad to see this was picked up again. The series recently ended in Japan, at volume 8, so we have a way to go.

Hmm... Can we really tag it as Isekai?
I mean, this is still Japan, even if this is from the future or whatever happened, not really another world.

So wait, how exactly will this link to Alice in Borderland? Or is that a spoiler?

I don't think it's ever going to link to AIB/INKA, it's just another psychological horror story of Asou's. IIRC someone on batoto said this was a "sequel" in the same universe and background but neither has connection to AIB's events nor will these characters ever interact with the previous series' characters

they're not really related, except maybe the "space" they're in is the same. def not a sequel to borderland in any way other than spiritually.

Thanks for translations... i dont even mind that there is no line of games till the end but just one big mystery. Could someone change the description though? "she is forced to participate in deadly survival games with other female high school students." either this is wrong is its spoilering more manga than is translated

Kinda odd to see both Alice on Border Road and Alice in Borderland tagged as Isekai, though I can understand why it's tagged as such.

I don't have a better cover at hand, but if anyone does, this should probably be changed to the volume 1 cover. Anything else would be like an indirect spoiler.

Rules say that covers which are spoilers are a no, and in a story like this any cover featuring a character that's not Alice, beyond like volume 2, is a spoiler.

1.8 Cover Image

1.8.2Content: use a cover image of a later volume, unless it doesn't fit the overall art style or theme of the comic nor has major spoilers.

"random character exists" is not a spoiler period, nor is "character has changed their appearance since the start of the story". "character thought to have died previously in this story makes a return" would be, "character can be seen to have changed sides" could possibly be also. there are no spoilers on 99% of all the tankoban covers in existence.

@tathra, just thought about starting to read this, wanted to look at the comments to check what people think of it and read your comment.

Please mark your spoilers in the future. Thank you.

With the very nature of this story, seeing them on the cover means you know they won't die, which is a spoiler in itself. It'd be one thing if it wasn't a story where they are constantly fighting for survival, but as you'll know if you have read any chapter at all; it is. You now know that any situation they get into, they'll get out of fine. The idea of a major spoiler isn't some kind of easily quantifiable measure, it entirely varies from story to story.
