@kn1000a - Also a fun fact, the term "sliders" comes from the 90's Sci-fi show Sliders. A sci-fi show where people jump dimension to dimension exploring parallel worlds of alt-history. The term is pretty niche now, but back in 2007, when Haruhi was coming out, the show was still recent enough that it was viable as an equivalent term to explain the concept without explication.

@Meybi It's as simple as how you see the Minecraft Realms mode. If I create one realm, do I become creator of all the realms? No. Cmon man, the countries/groups of people are different, there's a completely different culture in SS vs Katakura town, all the features are different, etc etc. It's an isekai and I don't want to continue this anymore.

@RhoninFire I figured. That's the only thing that shows up when I searched up the term when commenting here last time. I know people used to use the term outside of Haruhi, but since I haven't watch that TV show, and I got exposed to the term through Haruhi, I decided to only go for the Haruhi reference.

Really wish more manga and anime follows this niche genre tho. Self-fulfillment in isekai is so bland.
