I'd have thought instead of a kinda obscure artwork the reference to the mith of Icarus would have been much more obvious -what with flying too close to the sun and all that- but perhaps that just reflects my reading history...

Didn't realize Zeppelin borrowed the Icarus imagery from an already existing artwork, but I'm not sure Yuzuki Hikaru was inspired by the Icarus myth or imagery since her poses really don't match up. More likely I think they were intending a more generic angelic depiction.

Other folks have been talking about the Icarus imagery, but I agree that as soon as I saw the image, I was thinking along the same lines.

That said, the entire damn Internet has taken a huge step back due to the endless toxic-waste spill that is generative AI, especially for people who care about comics, album art, photography or any other visual medium.
