Edit: Also bachi is a modification of hachi, used for 'bee'

For what it's worth, I think that nekoguchi is pretty adept at dragging this manga out.

I think if Megumi confessed his brain would melt and he would fail EVERY EXAM EVER. He's already super aware of her so just one nudge and he's done for ... DED dead.

Doesn't matter what the "right" term is if 3/4 or more people don't even know the difference between a wasp, a bee, hornet, or any other kind of "small flying insect with a stinger" that isn't a fat bumblebee.
