I'm honestly curious whether Sayoko will actually follow through with the friend. Maeri has been so turned around by Sayoko and this "relationship" that she's honestly in a rather precarious place, and Sayoko herself seems...well, "opaque" in her true feelings about all of this and I'm still halfway convinced she's purely doing this for Sayoko, and will have no qualms hurting Maeri to satisfy (or protect) herself.

I wanna believe that Maeri isn't being jerked around and taken advantage of, but I suspect that this will get worse, before it gets better.

Especially if Sayoko blows off Maeri's friend and said friend gets even more upset and tries to do something dangers to Maeri in retaliation.
