Yeah, TL'ing this is actually a nightmare. Trying to make the conversations sound realistic while he's just some all-powerful bonk lord is a little difficult. Most of his humility comes off as being contrived rather than part of the plot.

Yeah. Thats the closest english translation can get. A lot of the names from the original work's direct translation are really bad, such as: Akyak (bomber general), Ice (caroline's cat spirit), Polo (cat girl), Gatera Niga (name of the kingdom, I swear I'm not racist), and the worst offender, Rowley (name of the dragon and the feif), which I refuse to use as it just makes me think of diary of a wimpy kid. And don't even get me started on some of the skill names...

I know I'm just skimming this and having my fun poking at the holes because that's the entertainment I'm getting out of this. But I'm also sure there are people who are actively reading this and fully engaged with the story.

No clue if they then come to the forums to chat about it, a bunch of readers probably never actually participate in the forums. But I'm sure the people who are intently reading it are grateful for a proper translation.

Rithar Scans (the other group working on this manga) is known for speedsniping and generally low TL quality so it’s always good when someone better sticks one up those guys. Just compare it yourself, see how much it differs, and how cringe the lack of quality is on the other side of the wall. It’s only barely readable raw MTL trash at best..
