Jesus that´s bad lmao. Never read TR, and now I wonder why so many girls found the characters hot. They have drip I guess
The problem with this manga is a mix of:

• Characters have wide heads. it´s like the mangaka use the Loomis method, but draws the chin line straight from the borders of the circle.
• LOOOOOOOONG necks
• Shoulders of an american comic superhero, but necks of a moe anime girl
• The author is not very creative with perspective or angles, so we see the characters looking straight to the reader A LOT, so we are always aware of those mistakes.

These problems aren't even hard to correct, I made this quick edit to show how the characters would look like

This manga seriously need more dynamic angles, not only because of the mistakes I said before, but also bacause having so many close-ups/medium close-ups gets very monotonous and boring.

A good barber will make the hair fit the face since you can't just change your head shape and face but yeah I get your point. It's clear the author made him a below average looking guy on purpose just from the amount of times he gets told that (rip his self esteem). I guess the author wants to say that even average dudes can get girlfriends..? Idk.
When I see an average mf in an anime or manga land a good looking girl I don't suddenly think to myself "shit maybe I have a chance",
So I don't the point really.

I get your point, but my message was something trying to defend the devious hair cut that he got. Ofc, a good barber or stylist can make the a haircut that fits your face shape and wtv. That is the point of getting a good haircut, something that works for you and helps to show your good points, and the opposite with the bad points.
The point is, that the creator tried to give him a fade or something, and because of his art style and the MC face shape its one of the worst haircuts that he could get... But, we need to be serious tho, the original haircut of the MC was also fucking bad.
