Ultimately though I don't really feel sorry for ingame gal cause she never took the plunge with MC so she snoozed and losed. Really though I feel like we'll get an arc where MC reveals he knew of the dare and ends it with Gal.

I think she heard that it was just a punishment game thing and was trying to punish her for going through with it, and hasn't properly looked at their feelings and actions since, treating it all as just "it's from a punishment game so it's fake".

I get what the author was trying to do: because this antagonist had such a dense and narrow worldview, and was already shown to not respect the boundaries of someone saying no/stop, this was a way to speak bring closure to him in his jock language and on his jock terms, even though those terms were of course rigged AF with that 3rd condition.

These two chapters probably needed a bit more planning and foresight by the editor, but hopefully we can just take the overall message and move forward.

The 3rd handicap was always in place before a challenge had even been made, all Youshin did was spell it out for the dumbass in a way he'd understand

The premise of the duel was absurd to begin with.
"I challenge you to this one thing I'm absolutely good at while you're probably at the ameteur-shitter level, also if I win then your gf goes out with me but if you win then nothing changes"

Fighting absurd with absurd is the second most logical thing to do. The first is, of course, to ignore it entirely, but then there's a chance he won't stop bothering our couple, so might as well deal with it right then and there. Though considering he did briefly taught Yoshin how to be ballin', maybe basket-senpai is just really dense instead of outright malicious.

The whole peach and bucket girl thing has basically 2 options:

1. Peach is bucket girl, just how the author/artist bashed us over the head with their "hints".

2. Peach is not bucket girl and author/artist will redconn all the hints as a "twist"

Hidden option number 3:
Bucket girl is one of FMCs friends dressed up and wants to revenge peaches broken feelings, because oh shock, one of FMCs friends is actually a guild member of all of them in the background all along...
What a twist!

She is just a middle school student, she has never met anyone from the game. She likes Youshin because he was nice to her, thats really all it is. Later on, her an Nanami talk on the phone.. like really talk on the phone and she jumps on the Nanami train enough to take her side a lot of the time later.
