Oh, wow. I figured when I saw the artwork update to "3" that it had to be that there were a ton of chapters that just weren't translated yet. So are there actually more chapters already in existence or is the note at the end saying that the expectation is that there will be more frequent chapters?

Chapter 3 was not released until this past Friday in Japan. They mentioned on their Twitter that they were going to be updating it more frequently, hence the end note.

The main complaint I have with all yuri manga is that instead of writing drama they just make everyone cheat and sleep around. I really hope this doesn't become like that because the constant "I'm not good enough" stuff is dragging it down enough

Honestly, ive been reading GL manga for quite few yrs and theres plenty of stories where "messing around" is not part of the plot, the majority of it really.
Tho i must say, when u consider manhwa/manhua, then yes, sleeping around is quite common. But in hindsight, they try to depict the reality which in some cases can be that messy, but since generally is not from experience of the author it ends up being shallow or too messy.
We're only 3 ch in here, so a bit early to worry about that, mostly when theres no actual sign it will be messy. More like a trigger for development bringing an old flame/pseudo rival to the plot.

exciting!! personally I'm fine if it gets messy but I'm honestly more interested in the "low self esteem" thing and to see if there's a way for our MC to move past that internally!
