Started to say it feels like the story is too slow-paced. Then i saw we're still somehow only in chapter 15.

Excessive jealousy, then yeah. But I think a little jealousy is actually healthy. I mean, no guy wants to see the girl they’re in love with going to the beach and hanging out with other dudes without them there. It shows how much they love them. I think this level of jealousy is sweet and healthy.

There's a valid concern if your romantic partner is saying that they don't want you going to [location] with members of the oppisite sex; especially if one or more of them appears to be and or is rumored to be a womanizer / seductress.

With that being said though, Hinako and Asahi are NOT dating / married, so him not wanting her to go to the beach with memebers of the opposite sex seems at the very least childish and at worse possessive.

I disagree. The manga kinda did a pretty good job of making the guy that invited her to the beach seem like he has motives other than hanging out as friends. It makes sense for MC to get jealous at that.

Plus, he’s a teenager. A lot of people in this comment section seem to have forgotten that teenagers typically aren’t very emotionally mature, so it makes sense that he would get jealous that a potential f***boy invited the girl he’s been in love with for a long time now to the beach to hang out.
