I think she's indirectly trying to thicken his skin a little bit and force him to build some confidence on his own. After all, she's watching the two of them from the same point of view that we are, and from what I've seen she's definitely rooting for them.

Especially his sister. She very clearly know how they each feel about each other. She could literally say ONE thing to Hinako and it could help advance the relationship. But instead it feels like she views them as entertainment and enjoys messing with her brother too much.

Part of it is kind of on Hinako too though. She’s said that Asahi is just like a brother to her. This makes it impossible for Asahi to be the one to make the first move. Bro got family zoned hard and doesn’t want to ruin what they currently have.

She's really prideful because she's beautiful and smart, she 100% does view them as entertainment that's why she will occasionally help them but she will also get in the way and cockblock, like that moment during the bday where she was like you owe me one

But yea this series is acting like a fucking slow burn as fuck with both of them too scared to make the first move and shit and in a way its sorta annoying to watch BUT its ch 21, if they made a move I'd imagine they would be dating already and the author would just nuke the series as most do when they reach the goal since most authors sadly don't know how to write couples dating or married life

I enjoy the older sister, she knows they both like each other. She pushes when needed but also toys with them. Overall she want Akkun and Hinaki to be stronger and more self assured.

All my friends in college started dating each other, got married and started having kids and not one of them tried to set me up with a mutual friend. Thankfully I met my wife at work and after a few years I won her over. So long in the friend zone. I feel this kid's pain.

Yeah, same, despite asking them directly, nobody really cared to set me up. And now that I work for years, there's nobody to win over, everyone is taken in our project, so there's not really anybody to win over.

So, this means that I just enjoy the relationship chaos and drama around me, sign cards for more babies born around me, go to more weddings and read dumb (and less dumb) manga, climb mountains, save money, travel, do fun stuff and annoy everyone.
