Can't say i liked the chapter. It made me like Hina a bit less, but it's not like they ruined the series or something.
Let's wait and see if the author go full drama season or we go back to sweet chapters
As the story goes on, i find myself getting more and more annoyed by both the ML and FL. ML is unbelievably indecisive, and FL gives wayyy too much leeway to this dude who obviously has a thing for her
I really hate the whole "wait for me" trope so i won't defend it, but other than that Is kinda understandable that Asahi is indecisive and i think this awful situation is 100% on Hina.
If you put yourself on Asahi shoes, you can see that most of his actions are pretty realistic.
His 10/10 crush who is his sister's best friend only considered him as a younger brother until not long ago (we see him remembering Hina saying it) and now that he has a chance with her, he has to face the fact that Hina and him are in different stages of their lives, and that he won't be on the same ground as her until he manages to start his university life.
He recognizes this and that's why even if they have this "waiting" relationship, he doesn't know if he has the right to ask her to stop doing some things that would bother him
Also now he has the whole Hirano thing where he keeps trying to rizz Hina. So Asahi being only a young dude without having finished the school, has to compete with a dude who in his point of view clearly outclass him.
On the other side we have Hina, who, while she knows how Asahi feels about Hirano (blocking him on the beach, asking her to not go to the beach with him, and zoning him out on the outing after the university), still refuses to set a boundary and get drunk after telling Asahi she wouldn't do it.
I hope big sister will give Hina an earful because that wasn't daijobu at all
