I do wish Jayna was a little self-reflective about her workers. Why can't she conclude if she were interested in her workers lives, Angela wouldn't have been able to sway them. Like that's partially your fault. Because it's not like Jayna was bad to them, she just wasn't warm enough to them. I don't feel that way about Cassiel. He was just unfaithful and a horrible friend to Jayna.
Also, if Angela likes powerful men her age, why wouldn't she buy books on current peerage of the empire? Like before she arrived. Kind of strangely lazy for a power hungry villainess.
