I guess they don't have roles for older women characters anymore then, uh?
I understand idol career requiring the choice I since idols irl already have short careers but for acting it seemed very weird from everyone around MC expecting her to go with the first choice as if female roles for older characters don't exist anymorenothing says people who chose Course II can't also go on to be actors, though I guess with how seemingly-superficial people are portrayed around the idea of youth and beauty this early in, maybe it's become the norm that Course I is the only way to access those sorts of careers.
Perhaps our protagonist here will have a part in changing the perceptions of those around her. (though I haven't read the source material, so.)

More like "do you want to be Japan's ideal for magazines or a baking factory?", the only emphasis is on pregnancy right now.nothing says people who chose Course II can't also go on to be actors, though I guess with how seemingly-superficial people are portrayed around the idea of youth and beauty this early in, maybe it's become the norm that Course I is the only way to access those sorts of careers.

The inventor had a salt-and-pepper fetish.I get that it's because of the social commentary, but is there any in-universe reason why this is only for women? Is it just some quirk of the anti-aging drug that makes it not work on men?
They mentioned that the drug developed from one that was made to extend the range of womens fertility, so it wasn't made to be compatible with men originally. It's wierd that they haven't been able to develop one for men later, but it's possible that it's just too hard to rework it to work for men.I get that it's because of the social commentary, but is there any in-universe reason why this is only for women?
