this series continues to deliver.
I definitely feel that wistful melancholy over returning to your past and feeling like it's no longer there for you. Whether it's that the people and places have moved on and changed, or you yourself, that foundational part of who you were no longer existing like it would in a photograph can hit hard.
A constant reminder that nothing stays the same, that everything is impermanent.

But, in all the ways that can be frightening, it also be the best thing imaginable. Like when you find someone who becomes as important to you as Yuna is to Ema.
And their talk, even if over nothing at all, can help re-cement that fact and remind one of that foundation, that strength, to face the unknown - knowing that there's a new "home" to return to once it's all said and done.

Thanks for the chapter and continued work on this series.

I have a lot of respect for this manga being so open and casual about a lot of things that others treat as deeply taboo or shameful or things that should never be mentioned. someone being a single mom, joking about sex stuff, still being a bit raw around the edges when getting married and all that. it makes it feel so much more alive and genuine

This chapter was so cute and im glad they all seem happy or fulfilled in their lives
Also Yuna eating the thing right in the middle of both of them was incredibly fucked up

probabky not for long tho lol (and they're basically dating anyways, if you're talking about Yuna and Ema)
Dating? They’re basically married: Ema left food for Yuna, Yuna helped Ema pack because she knows she’ll forget the important things, and they both share financial responsibilities with each other. Healthy cohabitation FTW! 🥰

Lightning one? or does she mean as opposed to solar charge unless she means that 'magnetic' circle one some iphones have on the back

i wonder if they're dirt cheap in jp or she'll be gone that long to consider buying one at the konbini instead of just asking to borrow one from another relative(unless the outlet is also an issue)/some public cafe that'd let you borrow a charger if you also buy a coffee there too XD

cute outfit tho color contacts sound like a pain versus prescription if not heavy makeup/big lashes

Ooh interesting , custom wedding cookies, thought they were pins at first but even as friends i guess it'd be weird to just decorate that on a bag versus like a group photo

Ema must have a USB-C phone, and the implication is that the folks out in the rural areas still have the older-model iPhones with the previous connector (apparently they're not so poor they'll use Android). The last Lightning-based iPhone was released in 2022.
