I can't help but pity both Olivia and Ange (by extension) in this route compared to the original, because it shows how important Leon was to the general betterment of their lives, and also how they became close friends who can rely on each other.
Ange is forever trapped in the mindset that makes the Prince hate her, and she'll never receive love despite all her efforts because the Prince just isn't interested in her. So she endlessly torments Olivia for things she cannot control, under the assumption that she can control the events going on around her. She truly sinks into the "villainess" role that she was in the original game. In the process, she inadvertently causes her own downfall (and the entire kingdom as Olivia gets possessed and turns evil).
Olivia is trapped in a unwanted reverse harem where she clearly and definitely doesn't care for any of the guys, but because she's just a commoner and they're far above her in status, she has to play the "yes man" to them even if she absolutely doesn't want to. This of course, pulls in all the hatred and torment because all the other girls assume she wants this, and forget that she has no ability to refuse due to her status as a commoner. Since this isn't the game, she has the average mental fortitude of a girl of her age, that is to say, basically none and thus she gets crushed by "society" as result which allows her to get possessed and turn evil.
