Fucking bullies, poor Olivia...
Olivia unwillingly/willingly put herself in tough situation, she can't refuse otherwise it will be a public execution (because, why dare she refuse such "noble guys") but on the other hand can't take care of those special needs brats that don't do anything other than leisure.
Sure she could solve her financial issues by manipulating them like Marie did in OG story, although they spent their wealth to their devotion, but she ain't that manipulative.

Marie PTSD from gambling is surfacing, that's the reason of her unfortunate death after all, at least this time she has better character growth than OG story and stands to her point.

Poor Carla, now that we can get more of her background no wonder she was so timid, Offrey family is a cesspool of toxicity.

Stephanie without her double braided buns looks cute as heck, but still preferring her normal look.
No wonder she is like that, was raised in toxic family with a no good family heir as a role model and huge responsibility.
Olivia "stealing" her fiancé Brad put her in tough situation, as she can't leave with him and ditch her poisonous family behind, settling with someone less in hierarchy.

Wish there was "MobuSeka: Stephanie Route", girl deserves a healing relationship, fixing her inherited generational trauma issues. Alternatively Leon should see through Offrey family and swoon her under his protective hand...

Thanks for scanlation!

Thanks for the translation.
Marie's strength really doesn't apply to her naming her plans. :pacman:
So we're almost caught up to the flash-forward in the first chapter, then! I'm looking forward to how the manga handles those LN chapters.
Also man talk about road to Olivia's hell is paved with mob guy's good intentions.

Poor Livia doesn't deserve this.

Nobody for a single moment considered that she doesn't want those guys' attention and literally doesn't have the standing to turn them down, huh? Leon introducing her to Angie was way more important than I initially realized.

Can we speed up the haremification on this one please? 😭
Pretty sure we won't be seeing that in this series. Aside from main series, you have to read fanfics for that and sadly all the harem fanfics I know of exclude Marie because the authors have bad taste. Try reading An Honest Soul and Off the Rails (warning there's explicit scenes).

because he seems to have a grudge against little sisters (considering Sevens as well).
wtf TIL that this guy also wrote Sevens. Man, feels so weird seeing the authors of stuff that Yorai-kun translated making other series now that I'm also reading.

Thanks for the translation, turned out great!

Mishima Yomu tends to put outrageous endings for his web novels, and then change them for the Light Novel version. I think he was spiteful that people liked Marie so much, because he seems to have a grudge against little sisters (considering Sevens as well).

I really appreciate all the additional details added both for the Light Novel and manga. Only a little of this manga chapter was in the web novel, most was added by Light Novel, and the Mangaka does a good job of taking what they're given and applying "show, don't tell".
Sevens little sister is just depresing,

she got possesed by an evil godess and got mentally destroyed and at the end she just gets murdered.

Maybe the Author does hate littke sisters

I kinda relate to that gif in the end. There's a weird fascination to evil girls in stories that you tend to like exploring their character more compared to the stock goody-two-shoes characters we get as default. It's fresh.
Im more into little shits than villians, that must be why i like Marie.

The perspective is cleaner since Marie isn't mucking up the plot, but she was really almost perfect for those fools. If not for her family issues, the main story probably would be really sweet, all things considered.

Also, it's just so frustrating seeing all this pain for people who don't deserve it.

If I recall AnoSeka wasn't likely even something the Author expected to win when he made a poll on what side story about other characters to make. Seems the audience loved Marie that it won the popularity poll to the Author's surprise lol and he had to go with the results.

Hopefully by now his dislike for imoutos have faded and it wouldn't end like the WN considering every other side story from memory didn't really have bad endings for the target pairing.

As stated in the description
He tried to live a peaceful life as a mob character, but he encountered a scene where a female student ignored the flow of the story and tried to become the main character. Leon ended up seizing Marie, a girl who had a similar atmosphere to his sister from his previous life, and succeeded in thwarting the scheme.

It should have have been the right choice... but why was he feeling uneasy about it?
By preventing Marie's interference early on, the Otome Game story continues as intended.

What people don’t like about this series is that it also prevented Angie×Livia from ever happening. But remember, that Angie×Livia only happens because they have a common enemy to unite against, forcing them to grow as individuals, with Leon actively helping them out. Since that common enemy is no longer a factor and Leon barely interacts with any of them, their growth is also prevented.

Marie, unsuccessful in robbing Angie of her fiancé, Livia of her saintess, and the others of their respective fiancés, causes the Otome characters to inevitably cross paths, not as victims of Marie, but as love rivals. These love rivals exist in a society of female supremacy oppresses the lower class. Without the help and advice from Leon, there will be no Deus Ex Luxion for the Otome characters.

To be honest, I too felt conflicted about this series at first. However, it also forced me to recognize each of their flaws. Knowing who they were in the main series, it reminds me of who and what they're supposed to be in the Otome Game. All things considered, it makes their characters much deeper.

I also realize why this story is darker than the main series. It's because our favorite Otome Game characters now have to fight against each other for a really stupid reason in the most extreme way. But this is also how the story is supposed to go in the Otome Game.

That aside, I also love the chemistry between Leon and Marie. I liked their dynamic in the main series, but I love their dynamic in this story. Mainly because Marie is being forced to confront her biggest flaw in obtaining happiness, and without any real and meaningful victory since her high school life in Japan, she’s also being forced to grow as a person. Case in point, she absolutely detests gambling because all bets she has taken have never paid off.

Leon, without the mental safe haven of Livia and the counsel of Angie, now has to rely on himself and those around him who are not so close to him. If he closes himself off to anyone now, especially to Marie, he'll become the man he used to be.

And Luxion is now also acting differently because now that there are two Old Humanities of the opposite sex, they are motivated to make the ship sail.

With all that being said, i actually looks forward on how this series will go, and will be waiting for the scanlation.

Why is she even still so obsessed with Marie? Marie didn't talk to any of the capture targets since like few months ago at this point.

If she went after Olivia she would be the target of hate and scorn by the prince's and her peers, Its easier to go after Marie someone she feels is below her and who she feels she can crush without harm to herself.

Also she did try to steal the person she was engaged to first.
